The Acarnesi of Aristofane is the most ancient comedy of the world, even if nowdays nobody puts it on stage anymore. It's the story of Diceopoli, a peasant who, tired of the war, makes a personal peace with Sparta, founding his own alternative polis. After 2500 years, the comedy keeps on asking some fundamental questions: is the world rotten? If yes, is it possible to re-found it, to imagine a new one? Massimo Grigò, in the shoes of a brilliant academic, will try to answer in the only possible manner: keep on questioning this comic jewel!

It's maybe a small theatre show, a monologue, but one of those that make you understand the necessity of theatre, of that one well-acted, which continuosly move you in thousand places and thoughts, which make you see, alive, partecipant and creative, even if apparently you're sit and you can only laugh and applude. But you laugh so much and you applaude conviced from this 'ancient' magnificent show, in comparison with other mediocre performances which pretend to speak contemporary languages.
