The two dancers’ relationshipis determined by their childhood and by the lockdown situation caused by the pandemic. 20 years have passed between the two encounters. They haven’t changed anything. As children, theyused to train together, they had lot in common: their creativity and playfulness, the love of dance and movement. It all remained the same. Even though the performance tackles so serious and grave questions as loneliness and longing for human contacts in times of quarantine, we find the notion of joy in the core of this piece full of humour, playfulness and intimacy.

Rita Góbi is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She was born in Novi Sad, Serbia; graduated at Hungarian Dance Academy. Rita Góbi’s performances can be best described as brave, experimental and scrupulously choreographed, relying on her geometrical, minimalistic, even reductionistic style. Her choreographic concept is strongly characterised by a certain harmony between instinctive, monotonous and repetitive, miniature movements, and the alterations of the body and state which are actually rooted in the movements – thus the set of movements always undergoes a slow and consistent transformation in her choreographies. The organic relation ofmovements, music, projected visual effects and lights creates a certain futuristic atmosphere in her performances.
