DANCE

In an attempt to transform music and bodies into sound to be seen, the Abbondanza / Bertoni company listens to Charles Mingus' free jazz, to restore a point of view, a state, a male position: bodies in freedom, shamelessness and the breaking of conventions.
The interpretation in Erectus is entrusted to four dancers. Through the genius of Charles Mingus and his experiment with multi-instrumentation, we try out possible multi-shapes belonging to the 21st century man. Once again the only costume on stage is bare skin: nakedness goes beyond the concept of the dancer, we see the man behind the dancer. The body.

This company is renowned as one of the most prolific dance theatre companies within the Italian scene for their productions, teaching and pedagogical work as well as for the diffusion of contemporary Dance Theatre.
